Successful reentry for an ex-offender requires access to transportation. There are legal requirements that must be met and often require a means of transportation to do so. A lack of transportation often creates an inability to find work, pay fines and report to probation meetings. As a result, ex-offenders trying to manage their reentry without sufficient transportation usually find themselves back behind bars. For those that made an asserted effort, this unfortunate setback can cause many to lose hope.
